To reach the airport, you can opt for the yellow painted taxis, metro, sea-buses, Havatas buses (private) or IETT buses (public). From Taksim to the Ataturk airport will take around 40 minutes or more depending on traffic.

The metro line also operates between Yenikapi and the Ataturk airport. You can also take one of the municipality buses from Aksaray to Atatürk Airport. The 96T bus of IETT also transports passengers to the airport from Taksim and passes through some other locations in the city.
