Designed to trick passengers. Despite a trans-pacific flight (Osaka to Hawaii) the bag allowances are nearly zero (~7kgs) and baggage fees are dizzying. I paid $180 for a ticket + $110 for a checked bag that on any other airline could be carried on. This is AirAsia's business model of course. They should be more upfront about it.
