Do you know how travelling has changed before and after the internet was invented?
We already travelled back in time to show you we used to prepare for our trips in the 80s and 90s: the process to pick the destination, buying the tickets and plenty of other things have changed dramatically thanks to new technology.
Today we want to show you the new video of our series “How we used to travel before the internet” which is related to everything that happened the day just before travelling.
Chapter 2: The day before the trip

If we compare 1985 with 2017 in terms of the “last day before the trip”, there are a few pros and cons:
Pros
- Packing the luggage without worrying about the weight or size limits.
- It was possible to pack 3 bottles of shampoo, 5 perfumes and almost any other liquid…
Cons
- You had to buy a disposable camera with a limited amount of photos and pray that some of them turned out OK.
- It was obligatory to pack some entertainment objects such as the Rubik’s cube because smartphones (and eBook readers) didn’t exist yet…
