eDreams compiled worldwide airport reviews from thousands of customers, all of whom actually traveled through the airports they rated and published a report of the best airports of 2011.

Seoul’s Incheon International Airport Tops List is the Best Airport in the World

Incheon International Airport (ICN) was the overall winner with a rating of 4.8 out of a possible 5 points. Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Singapore’s Changi International Airport (CAI) earned the titles of second and third best airports, respectively.

The Korean airport was not only the overall winner, but also came top in the categories of best waiting areas and best for shopping. Travelers highly valued its installations which include a botanic garden, a museum, and a stage where traditional Korean performances take place. Visitors also appreciated free wifi throughout the airport.

The second best airport of 2011, Vancouver International Airport (YVR), also rated the top North American airport, got an overall rating of 4.73 out of a possible 5 points, with a 4.06 rating in food and a 4.62 in airport services. Travelers valued its design and cleanness, as well as the free WiFi available throughout the airport.
