Ryanair is notorious for its April Fools’ jokes and so it is therefore not surprising that many are not sure whether to believe the airline’s latest announcement to introduce child-free flights starting from next October.
According to the results of a survey involving 1,000 passengers from all over Europe, 50% claim that they would pay more for a child-free flight.
A representative of the low cost airline said, “When it comes to children we all love our own but would clearly prefer to avoid other people’s little monsters when travelling.”
The study also reveals that 36% of passengers claim their flight was ruined by noisy children and 18% would be happy if Ryanair were to restrict the number of “little monsters” on flights.
For all the above reasons, Ryanair has decided to launch its first adult-only flights on high frequency routes starting from October of this year.
What do you think of this news? Do you believe it or is it a joke? Would you like to travel on a child-free flight?
