More people fly now than ever before, discovering new places and having exciting experiences…
At eDreams we believe that it’s not just the destination that makes a holiday but the journey too.
That’s why we’ve spoken with travellers across Europe to find out what they’d like to see in the future of flying and what they’d like to leave as just “blue sky thinking”.
The eDreams “Flights of the Future” study surveyed travellers from 10 different countries – United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland – and found that:
- 67 per cent of travellers are in favour of a separate play area for children on planes
- For the big kids, activities in the air would be welcome too: 20 per cent of Brits would like to see an exercise corner brought onto planes, while 11 per cent of Finnish travellers want speed dating
- Love is in the air, with two out of five European travellers citing they’d be up for joining the Mile High Club, if they could book a private cabin… they’d be willing to splash the cash too!
- And it’s clear that our customers are sick of the ‘Boozy Brits’ label, in fact 37 per cent want a two drink cap on drinking in the cabin
