Flying with Air France soon and want to know all the details about their check-in process?
Read on and find out everything you need to know about checking-in with AirFrance.
Online check-in
In most cases you can do the online check-in 30 hours before the flight’s departure.
If it’s a Delta Air Line flight departing from the United States or an Air France flight from Atlanta, Detroit and Minneapolis, the check-in is available 24 hours before the flight.
To check-in online you will need to provide the reservation/ticket number and the flight number. Afterwards you’ll be able to select your seat and decide how to receive the boarding pass: by print, email, or you can use an interactive kiosk at the airport to retrieve the boarding pass.
When you arrive at the airport just head to the “Baggage drop-off” counter if you need to check your baggage, or if you’re travelling without checked baggage just go directly to the boarding gate.
Airport check-in
You can also retrieve your boarding pass at the airport by using an interactive kiosk on the day of your flight, or you can go directly to the check-in counter. After collecting the boarding pass at the kiosk just drop off your baggage at the counter and you’re good to go!
Mobile check-in
Besides the online check-in and airport check-in with Air France, there’s also the option to have a mobile boarding pass. In this case you’ll receive the boarding pass directly on your mobile phone via text message or email which you’ll need to show to the boarding personnel. You can also download the boarding pass to your mobile phone with the Air France app.
